Dr Jennifer Mancio Silva

This was the start of her international research career that would lead her to move between different academic institutions including the University of Oxford and the Harvard Medical School where she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging exploring how radiomics can lead to the discovery of new imaging biomarkers of coronary inflammation and myocardial fibrosis. Since 2020, she has worked as a Cardiologist in the British National Health System at the Bart’s Heart Centre, the Royal Brompton Hospital and the St. Thomas Hospital in London.

Since 2018, she has been an Associate Professor of Physiology and Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of Porto. Her research is focused on using machine learning and radiomics to create simple and safer imaging solutions for patients that save time and costs for the healthcare system.
